Small group drills at Mylan Park

Small group practice at the Mylan Park practice area.

The Fencing Club has been a part of West Virginia University for well over 30 years. Since its inception, the club has been a central site for Fencing instruction for both WVU students and the community of Morgantown, as well as its surrounding areas. Given the independent and individual nature of the sport, we want to offer a place where Fencers can meet to practice, discuss, and prepare for the many competitions that occur throughout the year.

Not a WVU student? No worries! The club includes many community members, many of which are alumni to the university. Any questions or concerns? Feel free to contact the club through the contact page above.

Currently, dues for the club are $40 for one semester of membership, $60 for two semesters of membership, generally due the 3rd or 4th week of practices, at the discretion of the Fencing Club executive board (i.e. the student officers).
